I can understand why high count posters get more attention though. Keep in mind that this is all coming from a "noob".

1. They've been around longer and doing business with someone you already know is easier and even preferable to doing business with a stranger.

2. I'm sure that lots of people with low post counts show up, spam and leave. I haven't been posting long, but I've seen a few examples of it already.
