It sounds like your friend is a dumbass, who should maybe look into some anger management. If he broke someone's leg, I'm glad he's in prison, because people like that need to be away from society.

I bounce on weekends just because it's a fun gig. I get to listen to music, meet everyone (including all the hotties ), I get a good pay rate, and I get a free beer and home made tacos.

I haven't had much occasion to open up on anybody, but I think that's because most of my club's clientel are scared of me. I usually act nice to the customers, but I'm also tall, muscular and the owner has me wear an outfit that exaggerates my build. All the regulars have seen me pick people up and carry them out. They've seen me swan dive into the middle of 10 man brawls. Plus, if there's any trouble, there's going to be two to six more guys to get my back. If some guy broke the leg of anyone on my crew, he'd get the ass kicking of a life at the very least.

The point being, you don't disrespect those trying to maintain peace and order in an establishment that you want to have a good time at. Go, have a good time, but don't be a violent jerk-off.
