tax questions

I am a foreign student in US on F-1 visa. I have a website and make about $1000 a month. I had never thought about the tax issue before. But with this kind of income, I start to worry about how to file the tax forms.

I was using 1040NR form for nonresident alien. What form should I use now? And how should I file it? More importantly, is it legal for me to earn this money? I didn't keep all the tabs for my checks but I did record them on my notebook. Will that be enough to be shown as proof? I heard there will be a 1099 form coming from my sponsors. What if some of my sponsors don't send the form?

I know nothing about the tax law. So please educate me and show my as many details as you can or want to. Any help would be very appreciated, especially if you know about the nonresident alien tax law or have experience on it. Thank you very much.
