Kane, you do not think there is a difference between taking money from someone whose political beliefs oppose yours, and giving them more money with which to spread their beliefs?
This was a photocopy business. If it had been right-to-life.org or something like that, where their primary business had been as advocates against abortion, or pro-helmets I would have balked at accepting the job. In fact, now that I think of it, I did do that once.
I had just started a job doing an install for a well known divorce attorney. At the time, I was representing myself in a divorce. We started talking, and we agreed that I would do the job for free, in exchange for his legal assistance.
His first insistence was that I had to quit riding motorcycles because in his opinion doing so only showed that I had no concern for the welfare of my children, because I was willing to risk my life by riding Harley-Davidsons.
I gathered up my tools, and said thanks, but no thanks. Did not charge him for what I had done so far, and I left.
