Because my background is in philosophy and I've never seen a convincing argument that life doesn't begin at conception, nor any satisfactory argument for relieving a foetus of the right to life, I've reluctantly been driven to the position that Right to Life has logic and science on its side. At the same time, I'm not so fanatical about it that I'd want to use the government to force its opinion on anyone. We live in a democracy with procedures for establishing what goes and what doesn't and we need to respect that even if the government does what we find to be repugnant. That goes for people on both sides of the issue.
