I am a little surprised that there are so many lamenting the death of Dave Thomas, yet no right to lifers here.
Could it be that adult webmasters are so politically unaware, that they are do not know when they are supporting someone whose political beliefs are so diametrically opposed to their own with their hard earned dollars? Or was Dave Thomas such a great spokesman that he could have any political belief, no matter how inane, that you would still support him financially?
Is it possible that there are so many Generation Xers in this business, and what political analysts say is true, that Generation X has no knowledge of political issues, and pays no attention to the players, combined with a short attention span, that they will support businesses who fill the coffers of organizations that actively work to promote issues the oppose?
I wonder. I also wonder what would happen if the Civil Rights movement or Viet Nam occurred now instead of when they did, would the youth of today let their voices be heard?
You do realize that it was because of people of my generation, and their opposition to the debacle in Southeast Asia that 18 year olds on this country are allowed to vote, and even closer to home, the only reason why 18 year olds are allowed to have credit cards, thus buy memberships to your sponsors.
