Yep, because cheaters do it the same way and try to use excuses like this.

You may avoid a ban if you put up a 404 page that obviously makes you no money, so no links to any sponsors, just some plain text saying that the page doesn't exist any more, your bandwidth limit is reached or whatever...no guarantee to avoid blacklisting this way, but chances are much better than sending your 404 traffic to popup hell
