We have not talked in over 2 years. She had called my family to get my number since I have moved in that time. We were married, in Las Vegas of cource, since we lived in Huntington Beach, CA it seemed like the thing to do. After 6 years we called it quites and I moved to Lauisania. A friendly divorce we didn't fight about anything, we had no children ECT. I signed all the papers and sent them in. In CA after you file you have to wait 6 months before it is official and the lawyers have to do the final whatever. in court.

So, I get this call today and my EX tells me that final hearing was never done. I am still married. We have to do it all over again. Which is not a big deal, I was not planning to get hitched again soon, but she is that is why she checked on it.

But what a thought I have not been divorced for 3 years but I'm still legally married.

It's just an odd feeling to know this, what if I did get married in that time I thought I was divorced?
