I almost choked when I read that. And it's so true, it is one of those weird Southern things. And I must admit- I'm still the same way.
If a guy I don't know ever writes his phone number down for me or tells me to call him, I just give him this blank look. I won't even take it. Luckily most men around here seem to understand what our mothers have done to us.
