Well interestingly enough, a lot of the Canadian olympians do live below the poverty line. Why is it that Hockey players are paid millions of dollars, where as these athletes receive next to nothing - though they train just as hard, if not harder.

they train to win, not to get rich. if they want to make money they should get a real job or play in a sport that people will pay money to watch.
