It's amazing how many don't waste time at shows :-) I used to go - but after a few, it gets boring and repetitive. I'd rather earn some money instead - ain't got the time for shows and listening to the same old shit. Tho met a few interesting people at shows.
On ideas... it's the same there. Ideas are 10 a penny. It is implementing them that takes time and energy and I ain't got enough of that - and too busy "implementing" some now.
And.. "living" a decent life in the middle of that is a good idea - it's not all about work and money
