Did you jump to the conclusion that my statements were about free speech? Thats the wrong assumption to make.
The point is that the intolerance of people these past few years has become borderline extremist. If I own a company and dont like the political views of my employee, I fire them. Thats intolerant, and it's shocking to me that close minded people do such things.

He was not fired for having a political view that the company did not agree with. He was fired for embarrassing what was obviously an important client. I'm sure you'd love it if an employee of yours was pissing off your clients and by doing so ,sending them elsewhere.
