I don't think anyone on GFY cares how to make a MetroSexual guy buy more face cream. I'll leave that to the marketing wonks at P&G and the like to worry about.

As the head of Affiliate Programs for FriendFinder, what I've been thinking about a lot lately is the direction of new adult content, the increasing "fuzziness" between the once-hard lines separating gay from straight and male-centric from female-centric imagery.

As I see it, the MetroSexual phenomenon is a HEALTHY indication that polarized gender roles and behavioral expectations based on whether you have a cock or a pussy are slowly dissolving. That bodes well for us as a species, since people who feel freer to "invent" or pursue a uniquely personal sexuality are happier people. I think it bodes well for the adult industry, too, insofar as a market that is more stratified and less polarized in its preferences creates room for much needed innovation in content and in the services (like ours) that help people connect on the basis of who/what they are.
