There was no real outcry from the american people to impeach Clinton. The peoples attention to it was more like watching a soap opera or newstand gossip rag. It was entirely suggested and pursued by the republican party who poured millions and millions into it.
You can see the dirty tactics of the 'Pubelicans everyday still. To this day they blame Bushes horrible record with the economy on Clinton. They tell firefighters how important they are, then slash funding for equipment. It goes on and on and on.
There will just be an election to remove them. It's all we've got to work with.
