Only really takes time if you wanna make nice ones. If you make the standard ol' shitty avs site, it's nothing more than a glorified gallery with an avs door on it.
However... I disagree with the taking more time to bring bucks than a gallery. I built 40 sweet-ass avs sites... nice shit... took me a couple months to build 'em... but they converted 1:60 for me straight outta the gate, and upsold to Premium pretty damn well too.
You get out of things exactly what you are willing to put into things. If you wanna whip up 100 shitty AVS sites a day and try to kill them with quantity, well.... that might be one way to look at it... but 1000 shitty non-converting sites makes just as much nothing as one non-converting site.
Build something unique that grabs surfers attention... and they will buy.
