I live on the Ohio / Kentucky border... (in a very hillbilly area) Everyone here has guns, everyone will shoot an intruder without thinking twice and just about everyone would walk out with a smug on their face if they dropped a cop in the process. Hell, my red neck neighbors would probably rush in to my aid right behind the police and shoot them from the back.
