the beginning of doom III was a complete ripoff of the half life beginning , i was really dissapointed in the originality. science project gone bad, come on. i swear they even stole a few lines from the script.
also, with all the cool shit you can do with direct X, why did they go with opengl ? lets see where did i put my voodoo 3d add in card....
I bet they spent half the time rewriting all the cool shit you can do in directx 9 for opengl. now there are some cool things like the way things look thru glass / plastic and the lighting effects do kick ass.
