My opinion is it that it COULD have been a really good party and that Stephen is a standup guy.
But Lisa really fucked things up, and at the end of the day it's Helmy's fault for letting her.
I guess his post basically blames the club for the problems which is fine, but it still points back to Lisa.
I think if Stephen plans next years it could be a success.
I haven't ever talked to Helmy personally so I can't make a judgement call.
My only real gripe was it wasn't fair to the small guy who doesn't have $200 to bribe a doorman. This party wasn't to show off Helmy or the sponsors, it was for the industry peeps big or small.
I hope they can surely know that our intentions of giving them a good time were sincere.
