I expected him to go over the top at times but you could tell Michael Mann had control of the ship............he gave a restrained and tight performance.............him and Cruise were excellent.........the movie was fuckin' aces. I loved the stream of consciousness shots of the nite cab-life.........reminiscent of "Taxi Driver"...........this was a marvelous movie.
