I don't use shady techniques....I try for no pop-up tours, and I am now adding that to my sponsor banner alt tags so the surfers know that.
I don't risk overkill with my ads....I try to keep it to 1-2 per page. I'm not trying to piss the surfer off, but I'm mainly trying to build with the SE and link lists in mind.
I'll take creative criticism, but I like attagirls, too, lol. I don't have any formal training whatsoever, so my coding know-how is limited, as well as design, lol, so please don't confuse me with xml, php, and java stuff...I'll be completely clueless!

Hey there chase..I know how hard it is trying to raise kids and make a buck. Keep up with it and you will reach your goals. I checked out the foot site and overall it looks sorty cute. That is not a bad thing, I personally find that a lot of times if things look too professional the surfer thinks big coroporation..and are less likely to click. So that is good. Your number one priority though should be to work on your thumb quality. Didn't check out what you did, but don't just put the size you want the pic in your html and have it size it down...actually make a thumb. There is a program called Thumbs Plus that does a decent job of making thumbs. If you don't have that, you can can just do the thumbs by hand in anything from Photoshop to paint. Just crop it to the size you want it...88 x88 90 x 120 etc.
Quality of thumbs is extremely important. If they aren't good..people take one look and leave..they dont click on the pics to make them full size and chances are they aren't going to be clicking on any banners either.
