Trust me ... if that happens to 10-20 people, and they got big mouths, you can hear about it for weeks.

If that happen to hundread of webmasters, they will just start hating the sponsors instead of the promoter . Since most of them don't know who is the promoter.

Anyways you CANNOT fuckup when you give VIP passes . And you cannot expect geeks that never go out to wear tight clothes .

Most webmasters have money to spend in thoses events, more then normal crowd.

A good rich party crowd makes 10x more money then a broke ass well dressed one .

Well said. With publishing the magazine in Philly we promoted and smaller vip events as well as large capacity parties/events. It is not for amatuers to get into this field for sure. I know we learned a lot even though we alread had backgrounds in this ourselves.

As a party organizer you have to remember who your clients are....First....your sponsors....they paid the money to make the event happen.....you better make sure they are happy....if you give them vip's to give to their key clients...you better make sure those vip's are treated with respect, allow them to skip the line, give them real vip status.......was there a private vip section/ bottle service, etc for them?

One thing we learn along the way in doing parties....we handle the door...not the club. If you allow the club to handle the door...this shit happens....bouncers will fuck your party up everytime....they want to make bank, and they know...with no one looking over their shoulder...they control the house that night. They hook up their friends and regulars, etc....fuck that....that means that the sponsors paid for their drinks....and who the fuck are they??? Not webmasters! Trust me...been there....done that shit. You gotta control the door!

There is so much more, but it sounds like this was one of the main points of complaints from the party.

Sad thing is that if half of Miami locals filled the room, and real webmasters were turned away...it doesn't matter how good things were inside...the purpose of the party from the sponsors standpoint was a bust.

One thing we learned....you are only as good as your last party....if you fuck up once...sponsors will never come back to you again. Sounds like this was a major fuckup on many parts....

I thought I saw some pre-drama and not here is post drama....I don't get it.
