How about you be truthful about your feelings. No I'm not BS'ing you or being a dick.
Just tell her that you're not sure if it's appropriate or not, and you dont know how she'll feel about it, but would she like to get together sometime for a drink or a meal?
A woman will spot a line you didn't even know was a line man..
