No. Like you. Most people aren't brainwashed into being atheists or agnostic. I even went to sunday school when I was young. Somewhere along the way my brain engaged and said hey, doesn't it seem a little silly that there's an invisible man in the sky that can watch everybody and read their minds? And an invisible place that we go to when we die? Or the other invisible place that bad people go to if they don't behave according to the invisible man's guidlines?
That doesn't strike you as a little silly? Even if it does your fear of death necessitates your belief in the afterlife.
