I am an atheist. I don't believe there any gods - not one. I come to this belief because of the total lack of evidence, even one tiny shred, of the existance of any god (as well as all the horrible things that religions have done in history and do today, ie Fallwell, Hinn, Arafat and Bin Laden). People have fabricated more evidence for the existance of unicorns, tooth fairies, and leprecauns than there is evidence for the existance of gods. Therefore I conclude that gods, are almost certainly bullshit. That makes me an atheist.

In the old days gods were a way of keeping people in line when the tribal leader was away on business. Today they are a way of making money. Here's a quote, from today's newspaper as a matter of fact, from Benny Hinn, the christian faith healer: "If God speaks, you obey him. If He says, give a hundred, give a hundred. If He says, give a thousand, give a thousand." Hillarious stuff. He said that yesterday to a crowd of 16,000 suckers, uhm, believers, here in Calgary.

The onous is on you god-believers to present evidence for the existance of gods. I don't need to prove that there are no gods to be an atheist, I just have to point out the complete abscence of evidence of any gods, and point out how very strange that is given the almighty, all-powerful, all-knowing and all-seeing nature of these supposedly supreme beings. Very strange and suspicious is the supreme being that leaves no tracks.
