One thing you never hear about anymore is that there was an elderly woman neighbor of theirs who said she saw Laci walking her dog that day. The neighbor did an interview for an A&E show on the case. She's since passed away. They also had a man who was driving on the road saying he saw her walking her dog.
Another thing that doesnt seem to come up is the fact that another neighbor of theirs had her home broken into while they were away on christmas vacation. They came home after the holidays and found the break in. Who did it? Havent ever seen any outcome on that.
Another odd thing was that Laci was wearing a fairly unique watch, and a relative of one of the area transients pawned a very similar or same watch a few days after her disappearance.
All defense fodder I guess.
The police errors and shit are bad too.. you'd think they would have learned from the OJ mistakes. Like when Vanatter brought OJ's shoes and a vial of blood home in the trunk of his car and booked it the next day instead of booking it immediately. (blood turned up on the shoes obviously). And how dennis fung testified he brought out 3 bags of evidence when a news clip proved he brought out 4, lol. The cops and prosecutors are causing their own loss of the case... again.
