In the heyday of the internet before the bubble burst (which I predicted 6 months in advance) ...
I was the VP of a company and would have to go to one of the top floors of a downtown city highrise ...
It was funny as the "courier guy" said to me one day ... "they're all suites doing internet crap and no brains" ... I laughed and said, "you're right" even though I was one of them.
Anways, the elevator was always packed in the morning, lunch and quitting time rush.
Once I walked in and there was hardly any room so I stood there facing everyone who was facing me ... and said, "if you think I'm turning around your nuts." - everyone laughed.
Another time - I began to sing - "this is the happy elevator - the happy elevator" - I think some got off on the next floor just to leave. roflamo
I love making jokes on the elevator its like a social norm to stare at the numbers as the go by - and never say hi to anyone - but I've never been normal (setup becareful) ...
However, I even had conversation with deaf people (she writing) if you break the social norm and just say - "hello".
