the best example is at elance, you can get "pro" programming from india or russia or whatever country at rates you will only dream of in the states, i've done myself web design work for $10 an hour when the normal was $50/100 an hour during the dotcom bubble days. blame it on global economy. i know it goes down to offer and demand but then if you can cut your prices to get the job and fuck your competition. amp, there's no thing as an ideal world
