Sometimes you just have to do something, even if it might be the wrong thing. Make the best decision you can, take charge, and take responsibility for the consequences, knowing you did the best you could. If I were you, I'd head for the strongest building around, no matter who it belongs to. Head for the local jail, maybe... they tend to be sturdy.
