i've been a Howard guy for 20 years, at first only through his early Letterman appearances, then through radio show tapes, then finally the radio show. the first day i listened to the Howard Stern show i was in heaven, for people who came later after all the imitators across the country began doing Howard's act including Dopey and Tony, it was radio that had never been heard before. The energy isn't what it once was on the show but i still listen in when my sleep schedule is right.
did they ever bring the people into the studio for that contest with Vinny Favale's horrid song he wrote? i wanted to hear Robert Goulet soooooooooooo bad.
