Using those tactics to freighten seniors or low income patients requiring medications to maintain their health in my personal opinion, is quite unethical. It's not like yuppies with medical insurance up to the wazoo are buying their meds online - they won't get reimbursed from their insurance plan. So in reality, not only are yuppies paying a higher price for meds, they are also paying a higher price for their insurance plans because the terms don't allow the medications to come from other countries - even if it's at a significant reduction. If they want it to stop, either bring down their prices or find a reasonable pricing structure worldwide so gray markets won't have any feeding ground.
Again, having been in two aspects of the pharmaceutical/ocular businesses - this is my personal opinion.

Yep, not only are they controlling the governent but the culture of the US is now in the hands of corporations. The gov keeps laxing antitrust laws regarding television and radio stations so that now it is only 3 companies that control what music is played...movies shown...clothing styles pushed etc.
There needs to be hardcore reforming of anti-trust laws or there will be no turning back.
