Well, for me this biz started out as a hobby and at the time I couldn't find an article anywhere that would tell me how to make a thumbnail
Pretty funny now, I know.
I have evolved into a stat freak who needs to see numbers growing on a daily basis. I do love to design and build and make contacts etc... but if all my hard work doesn't equal some password protected page with a huge list of numbers that only I can see then I am disappointed. Wether it be signups or traffic, I love the static nature of the biz. The fact that while I'm sleeping all the one's and zero's that make up the web are clicking in my favor.
I'm not sure if that is what you were looking for Amp but it's all I got... now I gotta go to sleep.
