Online Porn Industry Eradicated By Multiple Hurricanes
Monday August 16, 2004 - Multiple hurricanes hit south Florida hard this weekend. Weather systems that were predicted to veer off the Gulf coast of Florida were driven east due to an unanticipated cold front from the north west. This area hasn't seen such catastrophic damage since August of 1992, when Hurricane Andrew ripped across Dade County.
Hit hardest were north Miami and south Broward County cities. In a horrifying display of Mother Nature's fury, the Westin Diplomat hotel on Hollywood beach was pounded by massive waves from the Atlantic and leveled by powerful wind forces.
Last minute evacuations were underway but patrons of the online adult Internet trade show, Internext, that was underway at the Diplomat hotel, were reluctant to leave the area. Instead they decided to stock their rooms with alcohol and weather the storm.
So far over 300 Diplomat guests have been reported missing and believed to have been washed out to sea. Among this list are key adult industry player and in some cases whole company staffs.
In a statement released from Washington early today, Attorney General John A$hcr0ft briefly commented by saying, "Let God's will be done."
