But don't you think once it got past the point of no return, her family, neighbors...someone...ANYONE...should have done something? I mean, I'm a big girl, but I couldn't imagine letting my quality of life suffer like that. But, if for some mental instability or whatever, I did, shouldn't SOMEONE care about me enough to step in? I think it's just as bad that no one did anything as it is that she did it to herself. And, there could be medical reasons for what began as just a weight problem...not excusing the end result.
