The guy who hijacked my domain has hijacked at least 50 other domains from GoDaddy from people I have spoken too. After a few years of people being screwed finally people are taking action and have tracked this asshole down. My suggestion is move your domains from GoDaddy, they are OK until you get fucked over by some prick who decides he wants your domain , then they could give a shit less.

this has happened to me too but at another registrar who says they are aggressively
going to get it back for me. i won't mention their name for fear that many security holes remain. Some guys from korea hijacked it. i threatened to take my portfolio elsewhere if they don't retrieve it asap. fortunately the koreans hijakced it and put it into mydomain.com so there may be a good chance I'll get it back quickly. if not, i will have my legal talk to their legal and...
sad to hear that it's happening so often now. whether or not your domain is LOCKED, they will still find a way.
