Nobody cares because they don't see her, they don't talk to her, they don't know her. To the greedy companies, she doesn't exist and neither do her children. She's now working 2 jobs just to scrape by and she never sees her kids. It's really sad. And she's just ONE of the thousands of people put out of work by greedy companies every day.
I'm so sick of the mentality of the corporate world that "business is business" and people don't matter. If U.S. companies keep outsourcing, then U.S. citizens will be forced more and more to buy imported goods because they cost less (after all, they've lost their jobs to overseas workers) and they'll end up putting those U.S. companies out of business. And all I'll say is good riddance!
