I have friend from South Africa that had to flee to the UK last year after both her aged parents were beaton to death at their farm outside of Johannesburg by local blacks. I've known them for 25 years, and they never bothered anybody, really nice, very kind people actually. They were happened to be born there, and they happened to be white, that's all.
Mind you, I don't think we should grant them asylum. Under that set of circumstances the US would have to grant half of the continent of Africa asylum.
We should do what Kerry says, and wait for the UN to take care of it....
