There are sodomy laws in most of the US states as well and they often cover oral sex too.
I am pretty sure that the anal law in the UK went by the way side recently. While there is still not equal levels of age of consent for gays as there is for straights (ie if you are gay you can't legally have sex until you are 18 but if you are straight its 16)
The only ones that get out clean are lesbians because there never any laws in the UK against being a lesbian (male homosexuality was against the law in the not too distant past) because Queen Victoria didn't believe that lesbians exsisted.
Gay people still aren't allowed to kiss in the streets. I never thought this was enforced until I saw a friend of mine cautioned by an officer after his boyfriend gave him a peck to send him off to work. In soho for **** sake. Like the place isn't one big gay land. Love Soho
