Christmas Cat Roulette
When putting the lights on the tree .... buy the kind that take the nightlight-sized bulbs (the power is not "in series", meaning if one is not working, the rest of the set still works) ...
Leave ONE light socket empty, and string the lights on the tree in the regular fashion.
Have each family member donate $10 to the "kitty" (hehehe ... pun intended), and guess a date and time they think that the curious kitten will find the empty light socket. The person who guesses closest wins the purse.
