As many of you know, Sonia lost her job a few weeks ago, and that has put a MAJOR dent in our financial situation (Baby made some pretty good bling-bling as a store manager), not to mention the dent it put in her self esteem. This holiday season has been very trying on us ...
The prospectus of Christmas was looking pretty grim ... but we made the best of a bad situation, and did not let it ruin our holidays. The underside of our tree was much barer than in past years, and the day in general was alot quieter, but it was still very nice. It made me realize that being in good health, and with your loved ones, is a gift in it's own right.
I hope everybody had as good a day as I did.
