Yes, but I have also worked in the Health Care industry and several other areas..... and I seen a lot of it in the Health Care Industry as well.. if I had to make a guess, I'd say there were AS many, if not more in that one than there is this one. MOST of them that were abused say they chose the industry because they wanted to help those who needed help, they wanted to make a difference.
I didn't CHOOSE the adult industry, it kind of chose me, if that makes any sense. LOL
On my medical records, it has that my health is shit and I should probably never work again, all stemming from a majority of childhood shit I got and caused permenant damage..... and I was turned down on my disability claim because I refused to let them operate. I wanted/NEEDED to help my husband with the income and set out to do just that, I decided I was going to work from home, raise my kids myself and help him with that, AND it's kind of hard to get a job when the Docs have all added that little tidbit to your medical history...... so while setting out to find something online to do, we were watching a thing on TV one night and they had a couple on there that was making a fortune in the Adult Industry...... so that's where I chose to be.
I didn't choose to be in the industry BECAUSE of my abuse, I chose it because it was a means to help him pay the bills. Yeah I could have gone back to school and gotten a degree and all of that, but that wasn't going to help pay the bills and even so, with my medical history, it probably wouldn't have done a damn bit of good. So this is where I am...... and it isn't and never has had anything to do with abuse, it is to do with it pays my bills and takes some of the pressure off of him. Raising 4 kids isn't cheap, you know?
