You people are way way way too paranoid!!!!! The adult industry is going nowhere. It is impossible for any President to rid the American People of porn. The President doesn't make law, he is an executive he is not a legislator. The way the constitution is written makes it impossible for the President to take away our right to watch consenting adults fuck the shit out of each other. Now congress can if the people make them take it away. But I seriously doubt you could get enough people together in this country who do not like porn.

Loryn, I agree that porn is a mainstay in one form or another. I overstated about it disappearing and getting beat down for effect. But it's one thing for the adult industry to be gone completely (will never happen) and creating a situation where only the major players in adult are the ones left operating (those that can afford to weasel around the laws). I've heard the statement that 'those who simply 'adapt' will be successful but that's not true under all conditions.
The point about the President not writing law, that's true. The Constitution however has been thrown out the window on a variety of other issues, what's to say it won't be on this issue? In order to go to war Congress has to formally declare war. This hasn't happened to date yet we're in Iraq where we've removed their 'leader' and are still 'at war' there. There are ongoing issues about civil liberties under attack by the Patriot Act. Upholding the words written in the Constitution has been given short shrift.
If it turns out that I'm just paranoid (I hope), I will take you out for dinner and tell you how much of a jackass I was and we can laugh about it. If I'm right, you better be beside me trying to remove this administration next election
