One thing I saw on that site that I imagine is true and correct is that Kerry was actually in Vietnam for 4 months and he got out of his 1 year tour of duty through some manipulation of the fact he had gotten those medals.

Correct me if I'm wrong on that. I have to admit the impression you get from listening to him is that he was there for a long time.
