i'm open to hearing bad things about Kerry's time in Nam but from here it looks like his biggest crime was to make himself look more heroic than he was - uh....... the guy was on a river boat in the Mei Kong Delta - he was IN country, he was IN combat, what he was not was IN the United States safe as a kitten like the dumb drunk fratboy Bush.

Fletch has it pegged right I think - bunch of bitter old Republican vets who got pissed that Kerry came home and fought against the war.

again at it's worst you have a guy who served his country put his life on the line, did his patriotic duty fighting a war and then fighting against a war when he got home, gilded the lily of his wartime experience with a political future in his plans.

they call it a CHARACTER FLAW. if true it is. but what the fuck do you call it when you are such a pussy you get your old man to jump the line and hide you away in the Texas National Guard to avoid being drafted and serving your country? what do you call having your fucking drivers license suspended for endangering the lives of others driving drunk and high? what do you call it when you are the President of the United States and aren't ashamed to tell people God talks to you and you take your orders from him?

when it comes to character flaws there is a clear winner.
Correct.

Amazes me how anybody can even compare these two men. Honor, valor, and bravery only belong to one of them.
