Don't know, if i had to guess, I'd say they broke into someones car and that someone spotted them doing it, went outside and clubbed the first one they caught to death.
They were making a shitload of noise, and it was pretty obvious they were curious about what I had parked in my driveway. So I assume someone up the street didnt take the approach i took by making sure they knew I was right there watching my property. I would guess they saw them coming, grabbed a bat.. waited, and caved a head in once they did it.
They had to be higher then a fucking kite to be checking out cars and making the amount of noise they were making.
