Jews. You know only 144 thousand or so people will ever get to heaven on Judgement Day? The number is predetermined, or so it says in Revelations. Those are slim odds, when you add up all the "souls" who have occupied earth since time immemorial.
I dumped the born again thing when my pastor encouraged me to read and to think. He knew where I was headed, and didn't try to slow me down. He answered my questions, but when most answers turned to "you just gotta have faith", I knew I was in the wrong scene. So I drifted away, taking some new thoughts with me.
