I like the Centrino, but I would prefer the ATI or NViDiA video card though with dedicated video memory.

Centrino is for lightweight laptop mobile technology for traveling and easy mobility..
If you want that heavy processing shit, get a larger more clunky laptop that has the P4 3.0 Ghz processor in it.
If you want a lightweight high battery life efficient laptop good for travel and even running all we need as adultwebmasters on the move, get the centrino.
I have one of each. My new Fujitsu Centrino 1.8Ghz is far better a product than my Bigger Sony Vaio P4 2.8 Ghz laptop.
The Sony can process more like do video edting-encoding and other heavy shit faster but you should have a desktop for that.
The centrino is much more efficient a machine. and the M chip is specfically designed for a laptop, where as the P4 chip is and was constructed for the desktop application. It just doenst run very efficient in laptops the P4 as does the M chip. For normal everyday applications as well as normal everyday adult webmaster applications the Centrino M will out perform the P4 dispite the lower Ghz rating. Its designed for laptop applications so it runs much more efficient.
In 2 years there will be no more P4 chips in laptops. They are going to stop making them as of 2005 I hear anyhow and all will be M.
