My guess would be you sent an email where you talked out of your ass and tried to get something more than Sleazy was willing to offer so he blew your ass off.
One thing I've gotten real good at over the years is seeing thru the bullshit and knowing the difference between someone just talking shit and someone who could be a good person to know and work with.
I remember a Looong time ago, one of my first emails was to adult buffet asking to do a link trade (before it was all scripts) and told him I could probably send 50 to 100 hits a day. Oddly enough he never replied
