Euro, first things first: Go Fuck Yourself.
Now, here's the skinny... I've seen a thousand designers come and go since I made my very first graphic back in '94. So no... I'm not threatened by your sudden appearance in any way, shape, or form. I think competition is great. Most of it only makes me look better anyway.
I don't claim to be the best. Maybe on my site I do, but as it was said, who the hell is gonna say they suck? There are plenty of guys who's work I admire. I'm not gonna start listing names cuz it would go on for days... if you're really a designer and not just another kid with a bootleg copy of Photoshop, you would understand that.
You would also understand, as designers do, better than non-designers, that it isn't a question of who is "the best" in this field. Everyone has different styles. Same as artists that use paint. One person may think my shit is the greatest thing since hookers, while another guy hates it.
So chill.
And if you've lurked around long enough to know that I will maul just about anyone for anything, then you know that I certainly am not giving you some special "I feel threatened" treatment. I do this to break up the monotony of work.
Hate to reduce it to this, but you're just another play toy for me.
And as I've always said... action speaks a helluva lot louder than words. So when you start crankin' out somethin' that looks respectable, then I will begin to take you seriously. But not before... and no cheating... don't be scanning some magazine ad for CocaCola and saying you did it now... (finger waggling...)
