I am from MD too. I have been to AC many times and have only seen them card people once. It was very late at night and the Casinos were empty.
If you are going to the convention - keep the badge around your neck or wherever. Walk in with friends (that hopefully look older) and I would be willing to bet you will have no problems. Play Poker. You won't lose any real money and that is more of an "adult game". It is almost impossible to lose a lot of money playing at those games at the lower limits with only the most basic of strategy (which I can teach you in about 20 minutes - if you don't know). I have tracked over 800 sessions at the lower levels and the most someone lost in four hours was $186.
Casinos don't want to hear from your parents about you losing money and they broke the law -yada yada yada.
Stay away from Video Poker, Craps, Sports, Roulette, Blackjack. I think they would watch these more closely. I could be wrong, but I think this would be the case.
I'd be happy to play poker with ya. Poker to me is so much more fun. It gives me a much bigger rush.
Remember poker is the only game BESIDES horse racing - were you are NOT playing against the casino. The casino gets a cut out of the pot. They don't care if you win or lose. If you win $100 - they still make money. That isn't true at almost any other game.
