Alright.... okay.... if you're really serious spacedog, the first thing you need to do is ALOT of reading.
Second thing is go get a real OS.
Third is decide which web software you wanna use. No clue? Go get Apache and start reading.
Next.... go research some DNS software, because paying for some weak ass third party dns forwarding service is for kids.
Next.... you're gonna need mail software too. Guess what... more reading and research.
Next... FTP software. Cuz no one is gonna mail you a disk.
Now... assuming you go this far... and have made all your decisions on the software you're gonna use... be prepared to stick several thousands of dollars into software and hardware for it, because your Win98 Packard Bell ain't gonna get it done.
Once you've reached this point... now you can start installing everything and setting up. This should be somewhere around month 4 from where we started. Only a few more months from here before you're good enough to have all the glitches and shit worked out.
